Before corporate marketing
Kameel was an entrepreneur prior to working for Dell. He has grown several successful businesses from scratch, and earned his grey hairs through a few failures too. He founded the Evoma business centers in 2004, Evoma specializes in providing a complete start-up ecosystem for companies expanding into India, as well as local startups. Through industry partnerships and a strong digital presence, he grew Evoma from one floor of an office building to encompassing five sites and a four star hotel.
He also co-founded Lucep and VirtuaQ, software that massively reduces customer waiting times and improves customer satisfaction through mobile queueing and data analysis. It's used by many large institutions including Citi bank, Banamex, Scotia bank and Apollo Hospitals.
Speaking, writing and everything else
Kameel frequently speaks at events about marketing and innovation. He's delivered keynotes at the Hong Kong Innovation Academy, China Innovation Academy, General Assembly, Analytics 2016, and has been a panelist at All That Matters Asia.
He writes articles for the Marketing Society, the European Innovation Academy and Social Media Today.
Throughout the year Kameel raises funds and volunteers at Ride for Rainbows and at MINDS, and is always looking for ways to better support users with disabilities.
